Third Thursday Evening of the Month, First Sunday Afternoon of Each Month
We are fortunate to present two incredible bands that will be hosting our Harama evening and afternoons in the coming months.
The series was created to evoke nostalgia for the old suburb of Kaisariani, where Angie’s mum comes from, and where the famous Harama would host the best of Greek soul music at the venue known for great tunes and good food. A little piece of Athens for the creation of more memorable moments at Taverna.
No charge, just enjoy the good times.

Παρουσιάζουμε δύο εκπληκτικά συγκροτήματα που θα παίξουν στο ᾽Χαραμα᾽ τα επόμενα μεσημέρια και βραδιές. Η σειρά αυτή δημιουργήθηκε για να ξαναφέρουμε τη νοσταλγία της παλιάς Καϊσαριανής, από όπου είναι η μητέρα της Angie, και για να θυμηθούμε το Χάραμα με την καλύτερη ελληνική ψυχή μουσική, γνωστό για τα ωραία τραγούδια και το καλό φαγητό. Ένα κομμάτι Αθήνας για να ζήσουμε πιο αξέχαστες στιγμές στην Taverna. Χωρίς χρέωση — απλώς απολαύστε.

She At The Helm

What is She At The Helm?
She at the Helm was created to celebrate the women shaping Australia's food and wine landscape: the chefs, winemakers, farmers and producers whose work is too often overlooked. Each event in the series shines a light on female leadership in hospitality while raising funds and awareness for charities supporting women and communities.
The series launched on Sunday, May 3, at Navi in Yarraville and now continues at our Taverna.
This is a Collaborative Dinner Navi, Cicciolina’s & Taverna - The Matriarch
For its second chapter, She at the Helm travels to Taverna, where Navi’s Sommelier Bonnie Spain, with Chefs Ana Cortés García and Michelle Elia from St Kilda’s Cicciolina, and Taverna’s Angie Giannakodakis will present Matriarch, a more casual, communal evening described as a "familial feast of culture."
Join us to celebrate the women who shaped us through the perspectives of Spanish, Italian, Lebanese, and Greek matriarchs with homespun storytelling and music from Nea Skoupa.
Six courses, including a welcome drink and a wine carafe for two.
